requires reservation on
a limited entry per day system.
Early inquiries followed with prompt reservation is recommended!!!
Rose
Harbour is very remote so we do not have access to
a normal telephone line. Satellite
phones are just too expensive for a small business like us. We do have
a radiotelephone and an high speed internet satellite dish in Rose Harbour.
For emergency, we can contact the
Coast Guards who will relay the message or assist us.
Our satellite
dish provides many services through the internet and is available to you
through Wi-Fi:

(voice com, live chat and webcam)*
*Voice communication does not work so well but can sometimes help
out.
So if you need
to bring your work with you and stay in touch, it is possible to do so!

Radiophones work like a party
line. It
is often a busy signal since many
people share the Cape
St-James radio communication channel.
You will need to find a phone
company with a telephone operator in your
area with enough skills and determination if you live outside
B.C... Some people have called us
from Asia, Europe and the United States so it is possible to reach
us in Rose Harbour on our radiophone.
You will need to be very patient and find a skilled
telephone operator, we were told to try different companies if you
are having difficulties..
You can call us from 07:00 AM to
09:00 PM Pacific Time any day of the week.

the radiophone. It will give you a good idea of what we need
to talk about.

but we have a mailbox in Queen Charlotte City.
Consequently, snail mail is very slow and sporadic to reach us in Rose Harbour!

recommend that you do
